When Revolution Bars wanted to deepen their connection with students and raise brand awareness across key university cities, they turned to BAM to plan and execute a high-impact, nationwide experiential marketing tour. With freshers’ season offering the perfect moment to connect with students looking for memorable nights out and new go-to venues, the goal was simple: get students engaged, drive footfall, and make the Revolution brand unforgettable.

Revolution’s activation was designed around a combination of interactive games, eye-catching giveaways (including the now-iconic branded pants), and irresistible incentives like free cocktail vouchers. With support from BAM’s promotional staffing, logistics, and campus booking expertise, the campaign visited over 20 major universities across the UK—including Liverpool, Northumbria, Brighton, and Cambridge. The game-based stand format and roaming adwalkers created excitement and encouraged interaction, while the QR-based sign-up process helped capture thousands of verified student emails.

Whether the team was operating inside Freshers Fairs, just outside student accommodation, or roaming high-traffic city locations, the Revolution stand consistently attracted attention. With high-energy brand ambassadors, smart on-the-ground decision-making, and fun student challenges (like the Nerf shootout and “pants for prizes”), the brand created shareable moments and queue-worthy engagement. Some of the biggest results came from events like Liverpool (1,219 signups) and Manchester (739 signups), proving just how powerful direct interaction can be when combined with the right offer.
